There are many ways of making money on the internet, not a substancial amount but maybe enough for example to cover the costs of web hosting etc. For the individual it is very difficult. I have been in the Web Design business for just over 4.5 years and have not made a single penny. However, there is hope. Recently I found a good way of generating some revenue. Getting paid to surf the web seems like a good idea, the idea is that you get paid (usually between 40-80 cents per hour) that you're on the internet. And you can also get paid for the people you refer.

Rest assured, if there is a way of making money on the internet (legitamately), then FREE Stuff On-Line will let everyone know.
